Nord Quantique Appoints Tammy Furlong as Chief Financial Officer

Nord Quantique today announced the appointment of Tammy Furlong as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment strengthens Nord Quantique’s executive leadership as the company advances toward commercially viable, fault-tolerant quantum computers.

Furlong brings more than 25 years of experience guiding public and pre-IPO companies through critical phases of growth and industrialization, with senior finance roles across biotech, technology, and professional services in North America and internationally. She joins Nord Quantique from Elevation Oncology, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing precision medicines, where she served as CFO. Prior to Elevation, she was Vice President of Finance at American Tower, an S&P 100 global infrastructure leader.

Her appointment comes at a defining moment for Nord Quantique. The company is advancing an efficient, scalable, and error-corrected architecture, and is moving from validating its technical approach to building the organizational and financial foundations required to bring fault-tolerant quantum computing to market.

“Tammy joins Nord Quantique at a pivotal moment,” said Julien Camirand Lemyre, CEO and Co-founder of Nord Quantique. “Her experience guiding companies from breakthrough technology to industrial scale is exactly what we need as we move toward delivering fault-tolerant, efficient, and scalable quantum computing. She brings the financial discipline and strategic perspective to match the ambition of what we’re building.”

“What drew me to Nord Quantique is the combination of a genuinely differentiated technical approach and a team with the rigor to commercialize it,” said Furlong. “The opportunity to build the financial infrastructure and capital strategy behind a multi-year roadmap of this ambition is exactly the kind of work I find most rewarding.”

Furlong assumes the CFO role effective immediately.
